To All Prospective Vendors:

 

The Georgia Herpetological Society is proud to announce the return of the Georgia Reptile Expo. The Georgia Reptile Expo, held December 5th & 6th, 2009 at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Atlanta, will be the largest gathering of reptile breeders, wildlife centers and agencies, and the general public in Georgia! The North Atlanta Trade Center is home to many of the largest trade shows held in Georgia each year. We are excited to announce that this year we will be holding our show at the same time as the Atlanta’s Exotic Bird Fair in the same building. 

 

The Georgia Reptile Expo will be an exciting weekend with a wide variety of vendor tables and educational exhibits. The educational exhibits will include local nature centers, reptile focused wildlife facilities and local reptile educators. We are planning on hosting several educational programs throughout the day that will offer the general public information regarding reptile as pets and reptile conservation in Georgia. In addition, a large native live reptile and amphibian exhibit will be on display. The display will hopefully educate the public about what is living within the state and its importance to the overall health of the ecosystem.

 

The primary goal of the Georgia Reptile Expo is to generate proceeds that would fund the GHS Reptile Conservation Fund. The Conservation Fund is a source to provide grants to local organization in Georgia. These grants can be awarded for educational programs and exhibits, conservation driven research, or operational expenses incurred by centers and their reptile collection.

 

Because of the economy’s effect on reptile show vendor success, we are offering an early bird special.  Vendors who submit payment by October 20th will be able to purchase tables at a reduced rate.  Please refer to the vendor application for details.

In an effort to make registration as easy as possible, we are able to accept payment in the form of checks, money orders, and Paypal.

 

We will once again produce a show program this year. The deadline for advertisements is October 15, 2009. Rates for this year’s program are: $250.00 Full Page Ad; $100.00 Half Page Ad; $50.00 1/4 Page Ad. All ads submitted must include payment and be sent in digital format. If you would like your business name and phone number or website address listed on the back of our show t-shirt, it is $50.00.  The deadline for t-shirt ads is the same.

 

If your company is interested in becoming a part of this fantastic event, we encourage you to register early as space will be given to vendors on a first come first serve basis.
